Something To Ponder - Your True Potential?
Take a few minutes to consider the following.
Ever wondered -
- Where great new ideas come from?
- How those amazing coincidences occur?
- Where new opportunities come from?
- How it is that when you are really focused on something you find a way to make it happen?
Why is it that -
- Some people seem more sensitive to feelings and emotion than others?
- There seems to be an increasing incidence of panic-attacks, depression, burn-out and related issues?
How is it that -
- Some individuals just seem to be in the right place at the right time.
- Some individuals just seem to know the right decisions to make at the right time.
What if it were no accident?
What if you were the instigator?
What if you were in control and had the power to manage all of this?
If this were the case, can you imagine the possibilities?
As an individual -
- You might be able to find a solution to any problem or issue you have.
- You might be able to find opportunities for something you have to offer.
- You might be to find your way out of any problem you may have.
- You might be able to create a wonderful life for yourself and those you care for.
As a business or organisation -
- You might be able to attract worthwhile customers.
- You might be able to attract employees that really enjoy working for the organisation and make an amazing contribution.
- You might be able to come up with new products/services, solutions and innovations.
- You might be able to find shareholders and finance providers that want to invest in the business.
Sound too good to be true?
What if -
- We were all born with these abilities.
- They were a natural part of us but we had never been clearly told about them.
- We all had unique and complementary skills and talents, that if allowed to flourish would lead us to work we loved, make a valuable contribution to our community and we get paid for it.
- We have a simple guidance system that indicates whether we are moving towards or away from what is best for us and goals we set for ourselves?
- Sensitivity to feelings and emotion was a key part of our natural guidance system and a strength that could be used to your advantage.
- We were in control and had real power over our future.
- We were able to simply attract into our lives what was best for us as well as those we care for.
This is our potential.
This is what many that lived on this earth have tried to teach. Perhaps we were not ready to hear.
Are you ready?
If these ideas strike a chord with you, then maybe the 'M-Power Programme' is for you.

The 'River of Life' Analogy
Imagine your life being a bit like a river that you can go down to with your canoe and paddle around in. It is flowing along reasonably smoothly at a nice pace. It has a couple of major boulders out in midstream, but the water just flows around them without causing much disturbance at all so the boulders are not really noticeable. You can put your canoe in the water and paddle around it easily. You can paddle upstream if you like, even though it is harder than going with the flow and paddling downstream.
You notice something quite interesting - almost everyone else is paddling upstream against the flow and they encourage any newcomers to do the same. Everyone agrees that it is much more of real challenge to work hard and battle against the flow. To go with the flow is lazy and too easy.
Now imagine the water flow in your river is increased significantly. Paddling around has become a bit more challenging but with some extra effort you can still paddle against the flow. The boulders in midstream have now become quite noticeable, causing a lot of turbulence.
The increased flow has bought some interesting choices. You could continue to paddle upstream but progress has become extremely difficult. If you turned and went with flow you would speed along even without paddling.
However, the boulders are making the ride pretty uncomfortable and a real challenge as they are now creating some major turbulence in the water flow. If they could be shifted off to the side of the river, it would allow the water to flow smoothly and make the ride very easy plus faster.
This river is like our life. There is a flow we are participating in - the flow of life. It is like an energy stream or river. Downstream are all the things we have ever asked for, all the things that are in our best interest. Upstream there is nothing we want. This stream is endeavouring to carry us to those things we have asked for - all the good things in life.
Even though we go down to the river and put our canoe in facing upstream and start paddling, we are usually moving backwards downstream but only slowly due to our efforts to paddle against the flow.
Now the boulders are like our beliefs that resist the energy flow. They are negative thoughts, beliefs and expectations that restrict the flow. When we have a slow energy stream running, we do not really notice them, but when we speed up the flow they become really noticeable and create a lot of negativity, discomfort and turbulence in our life.
The speed of your stream is determined by two factors: -
- Your desires and wanting.
As you set higher goals and want more, you draw more energy to you. It is a faster current or stream. Hence everyone has a different strength of energy stream running.
- Global desires and wanting.
The asking for a better life by all those that have lived before us has cued up a faster energy stream. The asking of everyone living today is contributing further to this. So you are unable to sit outside the 'River of Life'. The stream is running faster whether we are actively participating or not.
Sometimes a river becomes braided, splitting off into a number of different channels. Some branches are quite minor and might even eventually peter out into shingle, while others contain the main flow. Life often brings us options and alternative choices. Understanding how to choose the best options that maintain the best flow taking the fastest route to our goals is an ability we all have.
All of us need to become aware of the significance of the above. One key to effectively work with this is to become aware of your 'boulders' and find a way to quietly move them to the side of the river. This will allow the river to flow smoothly, taking you easily to your desires / wants / goals. With the boulders out of the way you can then focus on speeding up the flow, knowing the ride to what ever you want will be reasonably smooth and fast.
It is not about getting rid of the boulders as they are important 'touch stones' or reminders of how it all works. You just want to get them out of the way. There are ways you can safely explore transforming these 'boulders' that are stopping you from getting what is you are wanting, parking them off to the side and allowing everything good for you to come through into your life.
A second key aspect is to become aware of how to tell which branch of the river or option will work best for you, taking you on the most direct and fastest flow to your desires / goals / wants.
The M-Power Programme is designed specially to allow you to: -
- Understand the stream and know what it feels like for you.
- Know how to confidently shift any boulders you find off to the side, allowing a smooth flow.
- Know how to point downstream and go with the flow to receive everything you have ever wanted and is in your best interest.
- How choose the best branch when alternative options come up. And finally,
- How to speed up the flow so you can get what you ask for faster and more easily.
Do you want to understand and actively use this power?
Are you ready?

Children and their Unique Abilities
The wisdom and unique talents of children never ceases to amaze me. As an adult it is very easy to dismiss children as inexperienced and lacking the skills to make decisions for themselves. As adults we have a key role to nurture our children, keeping them safe and providing a supportive environment for them to grow into adulthood.
Listening to a radio interview recently I heard a wonderful piece of advice from a mother talking of her antenatal training experience and the one piece of advice that has stayed with her - 'up to 1 years old our children are completely dependent on us, and each year after that up to the age of 20 years we need to let them go until they are completely independent'.
I would like to share with you a couple ideas from the self-empowerment programme I use in my life coaching and business training programmes. Perhaps they may provide another perspective of children, allowing you to better understand them, better understand yourself and hopefully be a better parent.
The children being born into the world now are coming with an awareness and abilities that most of us older generation have lost touch with. Where we allowed ourselves to become somewhat disconnected with these talents we were born with, these children are very determined to retain and use them. And so when others around them encourage them to repeat their way of doing things, they are often very resistant and let us know. We often interpret this as 'undesirable behaviour'.
Every one of us is uniquely different. We are an individual expression of the amazing universal energy that runs everything. As Neale Donald Walsh stated - we are a Singular Outflow of Universal Life. If you use this as an anagram you get SOUL.
The significance of this is quite profound for each of our children and us in particular.
This Universal energy runs through us and supports us. It is pure positive creative energy and when we line up with it we feel great. When we get out of alignment and resist it we feel awful. It is a simple on-off process and we sense it as energy-in-motion or e-motion. Our children are particularly sensitive to it and cannot ignore it. Most of us adults have gotten use to ignoring it by dampening down our feelings - there are lots of ways to do this, just look at some of the compulsive habits people have.
Each of us is a unique expression of this energy and hence how we line up with the energy is uniquely individual as well. This is where the confusion begins. As adults we observe something or hold an idea and it feels good to us. We then try to apply this to others and especially our children. Because they are uniquely different to us it will not line up the same way for them. This does not mean it is right or wrong - it is simply different.
The potential from this is each child has unique abilities and talents that the world needs. If they can be encouraged to follow what feels good to them, they will be able to create for themselves an amazing life.
This is the potential for each one of us. We just need to understand we were born with this individual uniqueness and have an inbuilt guidance system called our feelings or emotions that will let us know whether we are heading towards what is best for us or away. It is a bit like the 'hot-cold' game played with children. Something desirable is hidden and somebody tells them whether they are moving towards it or away from it by using the description of getting hotter or colder. Another analogy is a GPS system - it knows where you are and you tell it where you want to get to. It then plots the best and smartest route to get you there. You have the choice as to whether you listen and follow the suggested route or not. You are in charge through the choices you make.
Our children are keenly aware of this guidance system and are unable to ignore it. They are much more sensitive to it and have a very strong desire to be allowed to use it. This means they want the freedom to choose what feels best to them.
As adults one of the easiest way to encourage their development and use of their guidance system is to give them choices. This allows them some freedom to choose and use their guidance system. Another way to encourage them is to use the words "you know what is best for you, you choose".
If you will do this you will be giving your child the greatest gift - the ability to confidently find their own way in the world and create a wonderful life for themselves and others. In this age of increasing information and contrast, this self-guidance system is becoming more and more critical to understand and use. The intelligence and power behind it is unlimited. Our children need to understand and use it positively for their greatest benefit and the good of all.
They look to us to demonstrate it.
